Weather Emergency

Matthew 16:2–4 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Fill up your vehicles with gas in the event there's loss of power at the gas stations
Get cash in small bills in the event ATMs do not work
Disconnect garden hoses from outdoor spigots
Gather extra blankets
Test smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors
Have at least one flashlight per person plus spare batteries
Unplug sensitive electronics to avoid surge damage
Have extension cords ready if using a generator outside
If on medication, keep a written list of medications and dosages
Charge all items
Phones, power banks, tablets and chargeable lanterns
Stock up on non-perishable food
Water
Canned goods, etc.
Assume downed lines are live and dangerous
Use only safe indoor heating methods
Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly
Move vehicles away from trees or power lines
Take a picture of your property for insurance purposes before conditions worsen
For pets, keep leashes and carriers accessible in case of evacuation
Pack an emergency/overnight bag
